Physique Weekend 2009 postponed

Dubai, 8th September 2009 : IFBB PHYSIQUE Weekend 2009, an IFBB sanctioned competition got postponed until further notification. This event was expected to take place at Sheikh Rashid Auditorium of Indian High School, Dubai, United Arab Emirates on the 8th and 9th of October 2009.

Due to some alteration within the respected Emirates Bodybuilding Federation (EBBF) and International Federation of Bodybuilding (IFBB), Physique Weekend management has to defer the competition until next year.

Talking about the cancellation of the competition Mr. Ahmad Kargar, Founder of Physique Weekend said, " We regret for the cancellation of the Physique Weekend this year but would like to inform our fans, viewers and the supporters that unlike other cancelled events of this year, our was not due to the financial reasons rather due to some unavoidable reason which is not under our control. "

"We would also like to inform our well wishers that this year we will be replacing Physique Weekend with the upcoming event SPORTEX, in December 2009. Wherein we will be bringing in some of the top athletes to our platform and this will be in much bigger way than the last year", he further added.
